The Festival is held every year during the last weekend in June and it's a great time to catch up with friends, the community and businesses in the area. Admission is $3.00 per person a day OR with the purchase of this years logo winner's button of $5.00, you get all three days! Saturday is Family Day - $10.00/Family!
Congratulations to Nathaniel Merritt, the winner of the 2016 Logo Contest. Nathaniel is a senior at Wolverine High and aspires to be a professional artist after high school. He enjoys drawing scenery and characters, and gets his inspiration from everything he experiences, stating that it all makes an impression.

We are having our annual Lumberjack Festival parade at 10 A.M. Saturday, June 25th 2016. Feel free to join us in downtown Wolverine for this exciting family time. Join us on Saturday, June 25th for our scrumptious chicken dinner from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and includes 1/2 Chicken, 2 sides, roll and a drink. This will be $9.00
The Michigan Pony Dynamometer Association
Saturday - Pony Pulls will start at Noon.
Play some hoops!
Firefighters water ball contest begins at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Events begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday
Teen dancing at the Community Center from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Admission will be $3.00.

The Wolverine Festival Committee is a local, non-profit organization whose main purpose is to support, through charitable donation as well as fundraising opportunities, other local non-profit entities, such as the library, public schools, area athletics programs, etc., whose purpose is to advance the quality of the rural community life through education and physical fitness. The purpose of the activities undertaken by this organization, such as the Lumberjack Festival as well as other events through the year, is to strengthen area commerce by promoting both tourism and good stewardship of our natural resources while also acting as an outlet through which the citizens of the Wolverine, Michigan area may demonstrate pride and pro-active involvement in their community through volunteerism.
The Lumberjack Festival Committee would like to thank all the volunteers who help things run smoothly! We could not have done it without you! We would also like to thank everyone who helped sell buttons!
To all of our sponsors, we thank you for your continuing support, Thank you to all who made donations of materials, prizes, and labor. Without the support of all these people the Lumberjack Festival would not and could not be a success. If you are interested in becoming a committee member, please contact one of the members listed. Need some extra seating and a few big tables for your upcoming event? You can rent them from us! Metal folding chairs are .50 per chair, and 8-foot banquet tables are $6.00 each, per day. To make rental arrangements, please contact Dave Bird at 419-350-9603.
